Itinerary:
Leave Athens and drive South West until we reach the Canal of Corinth which connects the Ionian Sea with the Aegean Sea (short stop). Drive on and visit ANCIENT CORINTH where Saint Paul lived and preached for two years. The remains of the city, which include the Agora (market place) and Apollo's temple (6th century B.C.), clearly show how rich and important Corinth was in Ancient times. A short stop at the site of the Ancient port of Kechries, where Saint Paul disembarked, will conclude the visit. Return to Athens.

Corinth -Mycenae-Epidaurus (Full Day)

 Drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf to Corinth. Visit the Canal. Proceed to Mycenae, visit the ancient city, the Lionesses Gate, the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then through Argos on to Nafplion. After lunch visit Epidaurus and its theatre famous for its remarkable acoustics. Return to Athens.

Arrive at DELPHI, the centre of the Ancient World - the "Omphalos" (navel) of the Earth - whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic world. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the SANCTUARY OF APOLLO PYTHIOS. Visit the TREASURY OF THE ATHENIANS, the TEMPLE OF APOLLO and the MUSEUM containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the Athlete Agias and the famous bronze Charioteer. There is an optional lunch in the modern village of Delphi and return to Athens by the same route.

Day 2: Visit the METEORA and enjoy an unique and most impressive scenery with ageless monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between earth and sky atop huge rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and THERMOPYLAE (visit the LEONIDAS MONUMENT).
