Day 1 / Thursday Innsbruck - Munich
Arrival in Munich and transfer to your hotel. rest of the day at leisure for your own activities. Accommodation at the Holiday Inn Munich Centre  4 star.

Day 2 / Friday Munich
After breakfast we visit the city’s main attractions, ending the tour at the center on Marienplatz square with its famous New City Hall built in majestic Flemish Gothic style. Stop at the clock tower from where you can hear the Carillion and see the dancing figures of the tower.Munich, the capital of the state of Bavaria is famous for its Oktoberfest, which is annually celebrated in September. The afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. In the evening you enjoy a traditional Bavarian dinner. Accommodation at the Holiday Inn Munich Centre.

Day 3 / Saturday Munich - Passau – Linz
In the morning we travel to Passau. The small city at the confluence of three rivers is the main hub and departure point of the popular Danube cruise trips. sailing towards Budapest. This city, on the border between Germany and Austria, has a very privileged location protected by a fortress overlooking the Inn and the Ilz and Danube rivers. In the afternoon we cross the Austrian border to the city of Linz, a picturesque town on the banks of the Danube river, once an important trade center and the third largest city of Austria. Accommodation at the Arcotel Nike 4 star hotel.

Day 4 / Sunday Linz - Dürnstein - Melk – Vienna
After breakfast we drive to the village of Dürnstein, nestled in the heart of the magnificent Wachau Valley and overlooked by the ruins of a castle that once watched over all traffic on the Danube. The charming town of Dürnstein offers a unique combination of breathtaking scenery and traditional architecture. It was in this castle where the English King Richard the Lionheart was held prisoner after returning home form his crusade to the Holy Land. We continue to the old town of Melk and visit to the famous Baroque Abbey. In the afternoon we arrive at Vienna, the elegant capital of Austria and the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.. Accommodation at the 4 star Hotel Arcotel Wimberger.

Day 5 / Monday Vienna
Sightseeing tour of Vienna. We admire the famous Viennese Opera House, the Hofburg Palace, Heroes Gate, the Neo-Classic Parliament, the Council and the other attractions. Afternoon free to explore Vienna at your leisure. At night attend a gala dinner accompanied by live classical music (optional, not included). Accommodation at the Hotel Arcotel Wimberger.

Day 6 / Tuesday Vienna - Lake District - Salzburg
This morning we leave Vienna and drive the the scenic Lake District in the vicinity of Salzburg and ascend to Mount Zwölferhorn by cable car to enjoy wonderful views over Lake Wolfgang. Continue to the city of Salzburg, where the genius composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born and where the famous movie, the Sound of Music was filmed. Sightseeing tour of the old city with its many charms and wonderful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque artistry. Our visit also includes the world famous Mirabell Gardens of the bishop and we see the house where Mozart grew up. Accommodation at the 4 star hotel NH Salzburg City.

Day 7 / Wednesday Salzburg - Berchtesgaden - Chiemsee – Munich
After breakfast we travel along the Königsee through the Bavarian mountains, along romantic farmhouses to Obersalzberg. Special buses and an elevator will bring us to the Eagle´s Nest for a spectacular view of the Austrian Alps. We continue to Lake Chiemsee, the “Bavarian Sea” for a short stop.
